Day Twelve

Welcome to the Perfect Mom Business! If you’re new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed to get my latest tips and thoughts on working from home. Thanks for visiting!

We are almost half way done. Are you doing something everyday to keep your business moving ahead? I am not asking for hours of work but that you share one thing you do each day for 30 days; that’s the 30 Day Challenge.

Today I worked on contacting people who have attended a Sense’ Skin Care Spa Party. After I have each party I write comments about each person on their comment form. In that way I can contact them at a later date and have a personal starting point for the conversation.

What did you do today?

Day Eleven

Today I worked on completing my final number of current customer contacts in my 30 Day Challenge. I personally contacted my entire list in the last eleven days. If you don’t have any current customers I suggest reading Kim Klaver’s book “If My Product’s So Great How Come I Can’t Sell It?“. She gives fantastic advise to build a personal script (what your going to say to people) in different circumstances. This book gave me the tools and the confidence to go out there and sell.

Day Ten

We are a third of a the way through our 30 Day Challenge  , how are you doing?

Each day simply record here what you do to forward your business each day. This is more of a tool to keep us accountable to do something every day.

Today I did more email correspondence and answered a few questions for customers about Usana’s products.  Some days are baby steps toward reaching our goals and some days we take leaps and bounds.

Day Five

It was a busy day with other things going on in my personal life but I still found a few minutes to do some work. I want to make my 30 day challenge of always doing something to move my home based business forward. Today I made a few emails correspondences. This was a baby step day but there are days that are big leap and bound days.

What about you, what did you do today?

Day Four

Well I am still at work. How about you? Are you doing my 30 Day Challenge? Why not?

Today I did more contacts of customers that have ordered in the past but not recently. This is not a sales call but just to let them know I am still selling this great product.

Doing just something each day will move you forward in reaching your goal. If you don’t move forward you are just not moving!

Day Two

Today I made five phone calls to customers that have ordered product but not recently.  I wasn’t pushy just letting them know of a few specials, asking how they enjoyed  the product and if they had any questions or things I could help them with.

Just for Laughs

Subject: Fwd: Mom Test…

Here’s a very quick and cute joke for all  moms.

I was out walking with my 4 year old daughter.

She picked up

something off the ground and started to put it in

her mouth. I took the  item away from her and I

asked her not to do that.

‘Why?’ my daughter asked.

‘Because it’s been on the ground, you don’t know

where it’s been,

it’s dirty, and probably has germs,’ I replied.

At this point, my daughter looked at me with

total admiration and

asked, ‘Momma, how do you know all this stuff, you

are so smart.’

I was thinking quickly.

‘All moms know this stuff. It’s on the Mom Test.

You have to know it,

or they don’t let you be a Mom.’

We walked along in silence for 2 or 3 minutes,

but she was evidently

pondering this new information.

‘OH…I get it!’ she beamed, ‘So if you don’t

pass the test you have

to be the dad.’     ”Exactly,’ I replied back with

a big smile on my face.

When you’re finished laughing, send this to a Mom
