I just read an article talking about giving your recipes a face lift. Their point was to make a recipe more healthy by substituting or replacing ingredients to make the meal better for you. Why not take this principle to business?
Why not take this principle to network marketing?
Lets look at our business plan and see what can be substituted with like activities to make our profits better. If you are currently putting money into advertising, is it working? Are you getting calls? if not revamp and redo. What about money into free samples? Are you getting new customers? if not revamp and redo. And then what about new associates to work with you? Is your business growing? if not revamp and redo. Now these changes don’t have to be drastic. Just like in a recipe you might be taking out a little oil and replacing it with a different kind, apply that to your business strategy.
What do you think? Do you need to revamp and redo?
What? Take time to read? What am I supposed to read?
Being in business for yourself by yourself makes for one very lonely day.
- Begin each day reading your goals. This will give you definition and produce the desire to do the work that day.
- Take time during the day to review other network marketers success stories.
- Cultivate your knowledge of your industry by reading related material. I market health products so I read each day the health and fitness section of newspapers, medical journals, and blogs relating to health
- Sign up for newsletter produced by your company and network marketing builders
Take a few minutes each day to be a part of the bigger picture. Read into the lives of others and have your life impacted.

We are done with our 30 Day Challenge. But don’t stop the momentum, keep on working. This was a wonderful exercise for me. Thanks for keeping me accountable.
What did you today?
For the last few days I have been encouraging you to finish this 30 Day Challenge well. With just a few days left, don’t slack off now. Stay focused. If you are looking for new ways to grow your home based business check informational sites on home based businesses. Don’t go for the sites that are all hype trying to sell you something but go to sites where other business owners go for help. I suggest Kim Klaver’s blog and her network marketing social site. She does an excellent job creating opportunities to connect with others in your line of work. Other sites have great information but wading through their sales pitch over whelms the reader.
So take time today to make a strategy for how you are going to continue your growth once this cycle is over.

So how are you doing with the 30 Day Challenge? Have you been consistent? Have you seen your home based business grow? I am always challenged when I do this exercise. It opens my eyes to my laziness. I will be honest. There are days when I get so busy doing other things in my life that I don’t do any work in my business. Now who forgets to go to work? I guess that answer would be me.
Working from home is the only way I would choose to work. I have preschoolers running around. My job first and foremost is being a wife and mom but I also like to make money. Money makes the world go round. The 30 Day Challenge forces me to do something each day. I am glad it does.
Keep working, stay busy, but stay focused on your goals.

We are nearing the end of our 30 Day Challenge. The point of this exercise is to help us to be consistent in growing our business through accountability. Now is the time to make this exercise part of your normal routine. Commit to doing something even if it is something small each and every day. The harder you work the more growth you will see.
Discouragement, laziness, and ignorance can keep you from continual growth. Remember to put yourself along side others who are working their business. This will help you from being discouraged by giving you a positive example. Work, work, work, no matter what you feel like. Don’t let your emotions get in the way of reaching your goal. Above all keep educating yourself with different business tools and styles. This alone will chase away the days when getting up and going to work just seems like a chore.

Don’t fail in the 30 Day Challenge so close to the end. Only four days left so be consistant and finish well.
Today I was out running errands for several hours. I must have gone to ten different businesses. Since this took a good part of the day I used this opportunity to give each cashier a certificate for a free facial. This has similar results to cold calling but the advantage is that you are face to face. This makes it a personal invitation. One in a hundred will take advantage of the offer but since I am at these places already, why not use my time wisely?

I was reminded this morning why we contact customers on a regular basis. During this 30 Day Challenge I’ve contacted all my customer base on three separate occasions using different means to do that. Today I was on the receiving end of a customer/business contact. I received in the mail a catalog from another company whose retailers are home based like I am. I glanced through the catalog and found two items I will need soon and put in an order for them. This was just a catalog that brought in sales for this business. How simple is that?
If others can make money, so can I. And so can you. What have you done today?
I am excited at what this 30 Day Challenge has done for my business and there is still time left. Join in, and see your home based business grow.
Today I am sending out a few more samples. This is a favorite with my customers. If they are excited, they tend to order more and they also tend to tell others too. Its a win win for me.
